History and Background

Blenheim Scout Group was formed as the 23rd Luton Group, Western Division and was amongst the founder groups of Icknield District.  It is made up of a Beaver Scout Colony, a Cub Scout Pack and a Scout Troop.  The boys who are members of the group come from a range of social and cultural backgrounds and a wide geographical area including Wardown, Bushmead, Biscot and the Saints areas.

Blenheim Scout Group is very fortunate to be supported by Blenheim Baptist Church and enjoys access to the church hall and other facilities to enable a wide range of training and other activities to take place all the year round.  The Group demonstrates its commitment to the church by attending Church Parades on the first Sunday of the month along with the Rainbow and Brownie Guides.

On July 2nd 2000 the Group celebrated 50 years of Scouting at Blenheim with a re-union for former members.

The Group have recently launched their own website.  On it you will find information about the group and news of their activities.
