Luton Scouts Meet The Duke of Kent

Scouts attend re-opening of Baden-Powell House

5th June 1997 -- In May the Town PR team held its first AGM during which Scout Adam Williams from Sell's Seventh made a presentation on his experiences whilst gaining the Public Relations badge.  So impressed was John Fogg, the Headquarters representative, that he immediately invited Adam and his two colleagues to the imminent re-opening of Baden-Powell House in London.  He added that the opening would be performed by the Duke of Kent.

Due to school commitments, two couldn't attend so Sarah Braybrooke and David Cupit took their places.
